Ingredients:-
Potato – 500 grams, frenched
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp (approx.)
Corn flour – 3 tbsp
Peanut oil – 2 tbsp + as needed for deep frying the potatoes
Onion – 2 numbers, medium, chopped finely
Garlic paste – 2 tsp
Red chilly powder – 2 tsp
Soy sauce – 2 tsp
Vinegar – 2 tsp
Sugar – 11/2 tsp
Cilantro to garnish
Method:-
Marinate the frenched potato with salt, pepper powder & cornflour for 30 minutes. Heat oil & deep fry the potatoes on medium low heat till crisp on all sides. Drain thoroughly on paper towels.
Heat 2 tbsp of oil & saute the chopped onions & garlic paste for 2 minutes. Add the red chilly powder, vinegar, sugar & soy sauce; mix well on low heat.
Add the fried potatoes & toast well till the sauce coats the potato. Garnish with cilantro.
Serve hot.
